PACKAGED
CREATIVE SERVICES
The following packages focus on specific needs
that are often sought by businesses looking for creative services:
Graphical
Identity Package
Businesses and organizations need a powerful
graphical identity to compete for awareness in the marketplace. The most
important
component
in a business' graphical identity is the logo. The business stationary,
forms, signage and promotional items are subsequently developed and tasked
to carry the logo into the battle, while advertising and other
marketing tools labor to bring awareness to the products and services
being offered--products and services that wear the company logo for a face.
The importance of an effective logo cannot be overstated, yet too many
businesses and organizations head off to market with a weak, cub-grade
logo that looks exactly like the afterthought it is.
Bonefrog Creative will work with you to develop
a logo that is up to task of doing the heavy lifting you'll demand. Here's
how we'll do it:
—An
initial strategy meeting to determine your graphical likes and dislikes,
discuss applications, usage and positioning,
project budget
and deadlines.
—The
fees and number of logo options you have to choose from depend
on how tightly we can dial in a graphical direction in the beginning.
Some clients prefer (and have the budget for) a wide exploration
of graphical styles and directions. Others put themselves in the hands
of the designer and turn me loose along an agreed-upon graphical path,
then choose from the resulting three or four solution options. Tweaking
and tuning up and final color specification are included. Also included
in the package is the layout for the stationary--business cards, letterhead
and envelope.
—The
costs can run anywhere from $350 to up in the $1000 range depending
on how wide and deep the graphical exploration needs to go, how
many changes and "what would it look like ifs" it takes
to arrive at the
final logo. An estimate will be provided after the initial strategy
meeting, and you will be informed up front if subsequent requested
changes and explorations are beyond the original estimate parameters.
—Included
in the logo package is a CD containing the various electronic flavors
of the logo needed for printers, sign makers, designers, etc.
Graphical
Standards Manual
To do
what it needs to do in the marketplace--carry the brand awareness of a
product or service--a logo must be protected from corruption and
dilution by misuse. And the best tool for protecting the effective strength
of a logo is a graphical
standards manual.
Think of a graphical standards manual as
a rule book for the use and application of a logo. A GSM specifies colors,
resolutions,
positioning, minimal sizing, black and white applications, vehicle and
other signage usage and more. A GSM also contains valuable information
that instructs those using the logo in basic graphical practices and savvy--like
the differences between printed and online resolutions, dots per inch,
line screens, screen values, PMS colors, spot colors, screen-build four-color
process colors, electronic file types and which type is best suited for
which application, color space, etc. Graphical examples of correct
usage and misuse are also included, as well as troubleshooting and FAQ
sections.
